Abby Trotta converted a penalty stroke with just under 4 minutes remaining to lead host Harrison to a 1-0 win over Irvington on Nov. 6. Kayla Mizrachi made nine saves in goal for Irvington.

“Kayla and the defense held strong throughout the game,” Irvington head coach Beth Staropoli said. “In athletics you need to have a short memory, so we need to turn our focus to Briarcliff, who we play Monday [Nov. 9].”

In that contest, the Bulldogs bounced back, beating host Briarcliff, 1-0, on an Anders Knapp goal. Mizrachi made three saves.
