Since the pandemic hit, the community of The Landing at Dobbs Ferry has really stepped up to help our neighbors who are food insecure. For the second year in a row, The Landing, under the direction of Micah Spellman, has held a holiday fundraiser for the Pantry, with an anonymous donor who matched all donations up to $5,000. That donor also paid for hot meals from Scaramella’s to be provided to all of our families. Earlier this year when the Pantry needed shopping carts for our families who had trouble carrying their food back to their homes, the community stepped up again and raised enough money for us to purchase 50 shopping carts to give out to our families in need.

In all, the generous residents of The Landing have donated more than $20,000 to help feed their neighbors in need. From all of us at the Pantry, thank you to Micah Spellman, the anonymous (and generous) donor, and the rest of the residents of The Landing at Dobbs Ferry.
