Rose Pandolfelli

Rose Pandolfelli (née Maiorano) of Ardsley, who was born in Naples, Italy, in 1919, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 4, at her home.

Rose met her beloved husband, Anthony, in Italy during World War II and was married in Naples on April 29, 1945. She was married for 36 years and lived in the Bronx, and then in Ardsley. Rose was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and South America. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was liked for her graciousness and kindness.

Rose was preceded by her husband; her parents, Emilia and Michele Maiorano; and by her sisters and brothers including a sister, Emilia Maiorano, who lived with her. She is survived by her son, Michael, her daughter, Emilia (Mark) O’Connor, her grandchildren Michele (Thomas) Greene, Lauren (Andrew) LaSala, Laura (Scott) Bayzle, Alisa O’Connor, and Gabriella and Michael Pandolfelli, and by seven great-grandchildren.

Send memorial donations to the Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry or the charity of your choice. Services were held privately.
