Patricia Ann Piacentino, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, at age 87.

Pat was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Cadwallader. She married Gerard (“Jerry”) Piacentino on Feb. 11, 1956 at St. Margaret Mary Church in the Bronx. They moved to Dobbs Ferry and started their family. Pat was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry, as well as a Sodality member.

Pat loved visiting New York City and seeing Broadway shows, and visiting the Jersey Shore and traveling — all with her friends. She was passionate about Scrabble, crossword puzzles, and card games, especially solitaire. She was also passionate about playing the piano and playing games with her grandchildren. Her true passion was the time she spent with her family and friends. She supported her children and grandchildren at all of their special occasions and sporting events.

Pat is survived by her children, Liz (Ralph), Kathy, Tommy, Jimmy (Magda), Danny, and Jerry. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kenny (Jess) and Tracey (Reed), Brandon, Sky, Jaz, and Madison, and by her first great-grandchild, who is expected shortly. Pat was predeceased by her husband Jerry and by her siblings, Thomas, Columba (“Scotty”), and Mary (“Mae”).

Mass of the Resurrection was March 6 at Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry. Visiting was March 5 at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry.
