Lina Iozzo of Dobbs Ferry passed away on Jan. 16 at age 71.

Lina was born on May 2, 1949 in Gagliato, a small town in Calabria, Italy, to Francesco and Cecilia Cutruzzola. Her true joy was cooking for family and friends within her community and church. She enjoyed hosting lunches and cooking for family gatherings and holidays, especially Christmas Eve. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends and cherishing the time she spent with them shopping and eating out, and passing on Italian family traditions to her daughters and grandchildren.

Lina is survived by her husband of 54 years, Vincenzo; her daughters Maria Theresa (Richard) Lorenz, Francesca, and Lina (Antonio) Garcia; and her beloved grandchildren Alexandra, Anthony, Antonio, Andrew, and Nicholas. She is also survived by her 94-year-old mother and by her sisters, Maria, Gianna, and Rita, as well as extended family and friends residing in the U.S., Canada, and Italy.

Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Dobbs Ferry. Send memorial contributions in Lina's name to The Foundation for Neurofeedback and Neuromodulation Research, 2131 Woodruff Road, Suite 2100-121, Greenville, SC 29607.
