Dean Broccoli of Dobbs Ferry passed away peacefully, with his family and friends by his side, on April 22 at age 55.
Dean was a lifelong resident of Dobbs Ferry. He worked for the Greenburgh Police Department as a dispatcher and then transferred to the Tarrytown Police Department, where he retired.
Dean was involved in coaching and helping out with youth sports, especially football. He served on the board for Dobbs Ferry Youth Football. He loved to cook and he loved his family and friends.
Dean’s greatest accomplishment, and his pride and joy, were his children, Taylor and Jake. He loved to bring them out in the yard and play ball with them. More than that, he loved watching them both play sports. It gave him the greatest joy to see them on a field or court.
Dean is survived by his wife, Noel Broccoli; daughter, Taylor, and son. Jake; parents, Peter and Lorraine Broccol;, brother, Scott (Christina) Broccoli, and sister, Sandi Mohl (Patrick Harmon); and nieces and nephews, Ryan and Danny Mohl, Luccianna and Brooklyn Broccoli, and Athena and Robbie Benson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dobbs Ferry Touchdown Club (Venmo @DobbsFerry-TouchdownClub). To send cash or check, email dftouchdownclub@gmail.com for more information.
